This Privacy Policy describes how BaselineWatch Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our website, platform, and services.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide: Name, email address, company affiliation, and billing information when you create an account or subscribe. Any information you submit through contact forms or support requests.

Automatically collected: IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, features used, and interaction patterns. We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect this information.

Payment information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number. Stripe’s privacy policy governs the handling of your payment data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to: provide, maintain, and improve our Services; process subscriptions and payments; communicate with you including updates, security alerts, and support; monitor and analyze trends and usage patterns; detect and prevent fraud or unauthorized access; and comply with legal obligations.

3. Authentication

We use Firebase Authentication (Google) to manage user accounts. Your authentication data is processed according to Google’s privacy policies. We store your Firebase UID, email, and account creation date.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with: service providers who assist in operating our platform (Google Cloud, Stripe, Firebase); legal authorities when required by law; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to affected users.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), secure cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform), access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide Services. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your Rights

8. California Residents

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA including the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform. Your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
